Please note, for those who may not like the two types of mini dolls shown here as one collection: these were used for examples purely for the ease of drawing them, the dolls can be either type or a mix of both, whichever is prefered - please just comment on your preference.

The Sprites is an idea I came up with a few years ago when I first began writing some short poems for children. The end vision was to have these made into little figures with accessories and what could be better than Lego? The poems were published in Digital format via self publishing a while back but I am more interested in the idea of bringing them to life.

I am not much of an artist, so the pictures here are only to give an idea of what I would like to have created all of which were drawn using AutoCAD as I am not at all proficient in modelling software!

The basic concept is this:

· The world of ‘The Sprites’ consists (so far) of 46 characters, 29 of which I have sketched here to reflect the basic idea.

· These are to be Lego Mini Figures but are to come complete with Mini Scenes to build alongside them.

· Each character has his or her own personality, profession and family so their own respective Mini Scenes can reflect their story.

· Each Mini Scene should connect to another – either sibling or parent etc - so that in their entirety they make up a complete world. This world does not need to be flat, but can incorporate a tiered system for those who live high up or low down, in the mountains, sea or in caves and so on.

· Eventually more characters can be introduced into the world of The Sprites giving birth to a future series.
