Ever looked at a Lego head and wanted one with the same set of features but with a different facial expression?

Maybe you're an animator and you want your minifigs to show emotions wordlessly - without suddenly losing their distinctive features. Maybe you're making a tableau and you want to tell a story about some of the minifigs interacting. Or maybe you have mascot minifigs on display at home or at work, and you want to customise them according to your mood.

A Lego Personality Pack is a series of heads, all featuring the same character, but with different expressions on them. So all would have the same wrinkles/scars/beauty spots/makeup, but the expression would vary.

There would be a stock set of 24 options for each head:
- Neutral
- Exaggerated neutral/poker face
- Mildly happy
- Delighted
- Delirious
- Frowning
- Angry
- Enraged
- Laughing
- Scared
- Terrified
- Disgusted/contemptuous
- Nauseated
- Skeptical
- Suspicious
- Bemused
- Sad
- Weeping
- Sweating
- Surprised
- Sleepy/tired
- Sleeping
- Cheeky/naughty
- Romantic/attracted/flirting

I would recommend doing each of these as a dual head, with the mouth open on one side and closed on another. (A deluxe version might also have additional copies of all these heads with their eyes closed, so you can choose to open/close eyes/mouth separately, but I think mouth open/closed is a more useful variant overall.)

Each set of heads would then come with another 6 heads with expressions unique to that character - some of these might not require mouth open/closed variants, so that would be up to another 12 faces for each character. Examples might include:

- Bulging cheeks, flipside is puckered lips
- In love (?hearts for eyes?)
- Pale green, nauseated (poisoned or sick)
- Drooling, flipside is big fake smile

Each year a few new generics (old man/woman, freckles, scars, etc), and/or timely or collectible characters, could be released.

SUPERMAN
- Eyes flashing red for heat vision, pale blue for X-ray vision, etc;
- Greenish skin with a sick face for Kryptonite exposure
- Cheeks puffed out, lips puckered for super-breath
- Evil face for red Kryptonite exposure

LUKE SKYWALKER
- Eyes closed, concentrating on the Force
- "Nooo! You're not my [SPOILER]!!"
- Frostbitten

HARRY POTTER
- No glasses
- Broken glasses
- Dementor attack
- Mid-transformation

(As much as possible these would avoid gender cues, so as to be useful with both male & female bodies/hair)

Finally, each Lego Personality Pack could come with parts and instructions for a box for that personality's heads to be stored in. This would allow you to keep the heads in your drawer without losing them. The design of the box would fit a standard profile, maybe with a window for the default face for that character on the front. However, individual boxes could be customised somewhat in colour and details.
