Meet The Neighbors is a minifigure set in the same vein as the 9349 Fairy Tale Historic Miniature Figures Set and the 9348 Community Miniature Figure Set. This set will feature a collection of minifigures representing people of both genders and various races in community professions, or dressed as you would meet them on the street.

As the number of licensed sets increase, so does the desire to include yourself in the fun. Flesh tone miniature figures represent a sizable percentage of the overall minifigures in licensed sets, so making a minifigure version of yourself can be difficult for a large number of younger builders. The Neighbors pack will help solve this problem by allowing young builders to have a wide range of people represented in their play, be it in licensed sets or in their free building.

The pack will include mainly gender neutral figures (representing both women and men, and versatile enough to represent either), encompassing various skin tones that have already been presented in Lego sets. These faces will be relatively neutral/positive, allowing for use in almost any situation. They will also represent important community professions such as doctors, lawyers, builders, teachers, police people, etc. Best of all, success of this set could lead to future sets featuring diverse groups of people to grow your cast of characters in licensed sets.

Each group of figures features heads which are simple and generic enough to allow for infinite degrees of combination. Each group includes a 'regular' head, a head with glasses, a head with sunglasses, and a head with traditional make-up. This would ideally allow younger builders to recreate a wide variety of people in a wide variety of professions.
