Today, I offer my idea for LEGO Star Wars combine able battlepacks (Combinatorial Action Mini Sets or CAMS). In all LEGO Star Wars battlepacks up to date, the sets have included a fantastic 4 minifigures to help build our armies. However, past that, the sets are mostly useless, 70 piece speeder bikes or a small useless vehicle. Nothing that helps to re-create a scene, or spark the imagination with more creative and innovative ideas.
Humbly offered here today, is my idea for LEGO to create combine-able Star Wars battlepacks. Each set comes with the standard mix of 4 characters.
Because of the ability to be combined on almost all sides, the combinations are limitless. The more packs you buy, the larger a scene you can create. I've created the scene of Tantive IV with these two packs, and in the pictures have shown a number of different combinations possible.
Not only would these combine- able battlepacks give buyers a whole new dimension to their playing (or even setting up large MOCs), it would also encourage them to buy additional sets to continue to build their armies, while also building an iconic scene from the movies. The parts in the set are also good for MOC builders as there is a wide variety.
My example of this:
I've just completed my next model- Theeds Palace (Naboo)!
My example of this,
includes two sets, one with 4 battle droids and 1 droideka, and the other with 4 Theed Palace Guards (from the famous and iconic Theed Palace Chase scene in Episode I). Each battlepack comes with the figures, as well as an approximately 150 piece build which can then be combined with the other set.
Theed Palace Guards (Naboo) with guns
Hallway of Theed Palace
4 Battle Droids
Hallway of Theed Palace with stairs (just like in the movie!)

My other example of this:
Includes two sets, one with Darth Vader and 3 stormtroopers, and the other with 4 rebel scout troopers (from the famous and iconic Tantive IV scene in Episode IV). Each battlepack comes with the figures, as well as an approximately 150 piece build which can then be combined with the other set.
4 Rebel Troopers with guns
Hallway of Tantive iv... Approximately 120 pieces.
3 Stormtoopers with guns
1 Darth Vader with Lightsaber
Hallway of Tantive iv with door (door opens and closes)... Approximately 170 pieces.
If you have questions about the set or idea, or even have an idea for another iconic movie scene that I could create, please let me know! I love to hear feedback and always want to try to improve my project towards the best wishes of the LEGO community!
