Aside from being available at LEGO's own stores and their online shop, this set could also be sold at the Disney Stores which already sell Star Tours related merchandise. 10.000 units shouldn't be a problem, I think!

As a set the Starspeeder could appeal very well to kids as this set can do what a lot of others can't do: store minifigs! Inside the Starspeeder there is place for 16 minifigs.

Apart from the vehicle and it's landing pad, the set would naturally contain a couple of minifigs. My version contains:
- RX-24 droid (non-minifig)
- G2-9T droid (non-minifig)
- DL-X2 droid (non-minifig)
- R2-D2 droid (existing non-minifig)

- C-3PO (existing minifig)
- Star Tours operator male (exclusive minifig?)
- Star Tours operator female (exclusive minifig?)
- George Lucas (exclusive minifig?)

In order to celebrate the 250th fan of my project, I built this Alderaan StarSpeeder 1000.

As you can see the lasers are shorter than on the 3000, different colours are used and a big sticker is slapped on the side.

I would like to thank everyone who has published about my project and gave me the thumbs up for this project. with disney's acquisition of Lucasarts, what better to celebrate than building the Star Speeder?

With 500 followers I will build the Dantooine Express! Keep supporting! keep me busy! ;-)

Update 04/04/2013 : parts are in! Working on the side stickers and before building it, I'd like to make some 'proper' pictures of the Alderaan Starspeeder. Dantooine Express should be ready at the end of April :-)
