What is Cuusoo?
There is a chance that you have happened upon this page without knowing anything about Cuusoo. Cuusoo is a site where people submit ideas for new Lego sets. If the project can get 10,000 Supporters then Lego will review the projected. If Lego likes the idea then they will create their own version of the project and mass produce it to make it available to fans.

If you already have a facebook or twitter account you can create an account with no hassle at all using that login. If not, it only takes about a minute to make a Cuusoo account to support a project.

This project is a proposal to create a Mecha Tank set based on the animated Series Legend of Korra.

Beyond the Mecha Tank, this set will include minifigs for Korra, Amon, Hiroshi Sato, and one other character. I have decided to let the project supporters decide what figure that will be.

After a very long voting process the choices are down to Lin Beifong and Asami Sato.

I will work on creating figures for both and then have a run off "election" between the two.

In addition to the figures and tank, this set would include a few parts to allow for the Mecha Tank's weaponry (launching hook, bolas, and electromagnet) and an array of bricks for constructing bender effects.

The various weapons of the tank are displayed below.

The "bender bricks" would consist of an array of dark tan bricks (Earth), translucent red plates (Fire), translucent blue plates (Water), and transparent plates (Air).

Above is a more detailed image of the Korra and Amon figures. Amon still needs some touch ups but neither of these are the final design of course, as Lego artists would design these figures if this reaches the review level.

That being said, I will shortly finish a first iteration of the Hiroshi Sato figure which I will then post.

The cockpit of this Lego Mecha Tank opens just like the one in the series. The canopy opens, then the side plates hinge up and the lower plates hinge out.

The arms are designed to allow motion like a human arm. The Shoulder allows for universal motion and the elbow acts as a hinge. The three fingers can open and close.

The upper torso can also rotate.

Also Depicted above is the "grabbing line" accessory.

This image depicts a printed canopy that has "portholes" that better reflect the Mecha Tanks in The Legend of Korra. Not sure which one I prefer. I am interested in getting feedback on this one.
