    Micro Mechanical Space Vignette - (Video)

    Main Section
    This model is basically a small, fun desktop item. You just wind it up, press a button and let it fly (literally). This could lead on to a whole new theme of desktop items. They would be cheap and portable, solid and cute. There could even be an option for an interchangable system where you could change the moving item and the terrain!

    It is made using a very simple system which means it would be easy to build and since it uses no batteries, so not only will it run forever, it is very affordable. I would put the cost of this model at about $15.

    The ship could easily be changed to one of your own mni sci-fi wonders! The terrain just pops off the base, meaning you could easily switch scenes. If this idea is extended then there could be larger and more detailed versions of this. Maybe 3 ships that seem to fight each other in a miniature win-up battle!
