    Traveler Souvenir Mini Figures Series

    LEGO Traveler Mini Figures

    The Lego Traveler mini figures would be souvenirs for kids to bring back from each vacation destination. Instead of postcards and t-shirts which don't last, these would be collectible souvenirs to remember each trip. Parents or Grandparent could also purchase these as gifts to bring back when they travel. Friends could exchange mini figures from their travels. How many LEGO Traveler mini figures can you collect?

    Initially, mini figures would be made for the most popular US states/cities as well as selected tourist destinations around the world (England, China, Disney World, Mall of America or Grand Canyon, etc.) Sets are only available at airports or tourist shops locally, not online. The only online purchase would be the starter set. The starter set would include a map or globe to display their collection and the mini figure from their home state. Each mini figure would come with a card that included special facts about that location, including history and culture and a picture; kind of like a postcard to go with the mini figure. Each card would also contain a unique code to register the mini figure online to share/compete with friends and other LEGO travelers.

    The online component would be a tab off the Lego website, as well as the LEGO Traveler App. Every child could create a free account. There would be a page for a map that has the mini figures you collected. They could also talk with friends around the world and trade their home state/country mini figures. It would all work through the app/online site. Once each child paid and agreed to the trade, LEGO would ship corresponding mini figures to each child. There would also be a social side to the app and online site for children to interact and learn about other cultures.
