The small model size means the potential cost is kept low. This design does not require any new LEGO® element molds. There would be no conflict with current LEGO® themes and licenses as this typewriter is a totally new idea.
This cool typewriter would work pretty well on its own, or it could be part of a series of palm-size LEGO® retro gadgets that could include a rotary telephone (pictured here), instant film camera (see www.bricksben.com/polaroid), vintage microphone, radio cassette player, gramophone, pager, computer, arcade game and a lot more.
