I have been buying my bricks from a local vendor. He keeps all the pieces by color so when I saw the Dark green, Brown,Tan, and Dark Tan together I thought it would fit perfect with my Flower Shop idea. Originally I had chosen this color scheme for my Flower Shop, (Click on my projects if you are curious to see how it turned out) but when I saw all the pieces in the table it reminded me of a place I had visited. Turns out that about 2 years ago I went to LA and visited a karaoke Mexican bar called Cantina. It was a lot of fun and I decided to build my own Cantina Restaurant with a Karaoke Bar upstairs.

Building for me is so much fun and one idea leads to the next. This modular was incredibly enjoyable because as I went about building the ideas kept coming! The possibilities were endless! Wish I would have had more space to put more of these ideas I had to leave out, but I am keeping them for my next modular sets I build. A little about my Mexican Restaurant:

    The Modular has 3 tiers:

    The Ground Level (Restaurant)
    2nd Floor (Karaoke Bar)
    Rooftop

THE GROUND FLOOR is the actual restaurant with 3 tables inside and 1 table outside. Once inside you'll notice the Mexican Floral painting on the wall, the Parrot atop the entrance doorway, as well as, the kitchen in the back. There is a bathroom underneath the stairs. I had a very hard time trying to get a picture of it so I didn't include it in the images. The Ground Level is tiled throughout. The Restaurant flooring is made up of Tan and Dark Tan tiles. I wanted them to look Spanish looking. I love the green panes that look out to the the street from inside the restaurant. The Staircase is tiled brown to look like a wooden staircase. The Kitchen in the back is tiled black and white with a fully functional oven and stove, counter top, cabinets, sink and faucet.

THE SECOND FLOOR - (The Karaoke Bar) was crazy crazy fun to build! I love the bar. It sure looks like a fun place to come hang. The Karaoke section cracks me up! I love the microphone stand and the karaoke machine. Put a lot of windows here so you can see in and not miss a beat. Kept the flooring from the stairs and karaoke station in brown tile as to look like wood floors. But tiled the bar in dark green tiles and floor across bar in dark green and light grey tiles.

THE ROOFTOP is pretty standard with the A/C unit on top.
