LEGO CUUSOO

The Tucker Torpedo was an innovative car in its day, but plans for large scale production fell through. In the end, only 51 were ever made, and they are million dollar cars today.

Ever since I made this, I wanted to turn it into a custom kit with a run of 51 kits in six different colors. However, I didn't have enough time and resources to make it happen the way I wanted. Then along came Cuusoo.

Purists may cringe at things I did to make the car, but it can be easilly adapted to weed out part modification; use tiles for the front grill, use flat silver bricks instead of chrome, and use the six-stud wide windshield found in train sets like the Super Chief.

Like Preston Tucker, I can only dream that my model will one day become a mass produced set. :-)
