    Lepidoptera - Gulf Fritillary

    Main Section
    There are over 174,000 species within the order Lepidoptera. I don't plan on making them all, but this could be a fun collection. Here, I present to you a preliminary, and completely posable Gulf Fritillary or Passion Butterfly. I may one day build the catipillar that precedes metamorphosis. Stay tuned.

    An expert lepidopterist has indicated that the underwing of this species is typically silver. Removable silver stickers could be applied underneath in order to complete the anatomical accuracy of the model.
