    Professional Mosaic

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A RE-RELEASE. THIS IS A NEW STARTER SET FOR A BUILDING GENRE THAT WAS ONLY EVER EXPLOITED IN ONE SET. THIS IS NOT A RE-RELEASE OF THAT SET.

Lego has released a mosaic set in the past, but it was sort of a kiddie, 3D mosaic. What I am requesting is a full-blown, PROFESSIONAL mosaic set for older builders. The parts are shown above. Similar to Lego Creator, It will have several mosaics in the mosaic instruction format, with the transparent 48x48 baseplate. It will also contain a brief overview and introduction to mosaic building. Included mosaics are images of a 2x4 brick, the Lego logo, a minifig, and images from other Lego themes such as Star Wars, Hero Factory, Ninjago, etc. It may also have a CD-ROM with software that transforms JPG images into mosaic instructions for this set, with an alert if it needs more parts than in the box, and if so, which colors and what amount. I know 6921 parts is a lot, but almost all of them are tiny, and it takes 1728 1x1 plates to cover 75% of the baseplate.
So, please support if you like this, as mosaics are a unique building style whose capabilities are hindered by the difficulty in buying mosaic elements in actual sets in quantities sufficient for a decent creation. Without DesignbyMe, which was kind of expensive due to hand-picking, we are restricted to Pick-A-Brick and online, but that doesn't give you a transparent baseplate that big, and some don't want gallons of bricks and no idea where to start if only looking for a nice, professional starter set.

If you do not support this, please reply and tell me why you dislike this and how I can improve.
